Owner
Dana Weary, DC, DABCO
Dr. Weary has been in practice since 1982, arriving in Spokane after a 3-year internship in Los Angeles. In 1996, he was awarded a Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics, an advanced certification requiring three years of post-graduate study and board examination. He is full body certified in Active Release Technique, having begun training with Dr. Michael Leahy in 1998. He enjoys a
very busy practice, treating patients of all ages and athletic ability, in part because of his strong relationship with dozens of physicians and other health care providers in Spokane and surrounding communities.
The career focus for Dr. Weary has been to help patients remove barriers to movement through identifying and mobilizing joint and soft tissue restriction, identifying and treating patterns of chronic muscular inhibition and then educating patients on how to maintain their new found mobility. In this pursuit, Dr. Weary has served as chair of the local chiropractic society for 5 years. While in Los Angeles, he assisted in hands-on training for other young doctors through the Motion Palpation Institute, and he is Certified in Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique, Cox Flexion Distraction Technic and more recently, Advanced Muscle Integration Technique (AMIT).
Besides his work with his patients and co-managing Pearson & Weary Clinic with his wife, Dr. Pearson, with whom he shares a wonderful and adventurous life, Dr. Weary is passionate about staying fit, spending time with their two dogs, Booker and Wallace, and diving deep into the world of jazz guitar whenever possible.

University of Washington School of Medicine

For over the 20 years, Dr. Kelli Pearson and Dana Weary have been helping students from the University of Washington to receive the family medicine training essential to the WSU eduction program. While spending a day at Pearson and Weary Chiropractic, students learn first hand how family medicine and chiropractic specialties work together to improve our patient's health and receive instruction in basic examination procedures that allow them to diagnose some conditions that commonly respond to chiropractic care.
